Heavy-Duty Mechanic:
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in the Detroit area and perform a complete range and variety of major, minor and routine repairs on heavy equipment and heavy vehicles.
Essential Job Functions
- Operating and inspecting equipment to diagnose defects
- Visually inspecting and listening to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
- Dismantling and reassembling trucks, machines, and equipment to gain access to problem area
- Examining parts for damage or excessive wear and determining re-usability
- Repairing, replacing, cleaning, and lubricating parts as necessary
- Repairing malfunctioning hydraulic components
- Diagnosing and correcting electrical problems
- Replacing malfunctioning subassemblies and components (e.g., transmissions, clutches, differentials, engines, etc.)
- Welding, cutting, and fabricating of all equipment and components
- Changing oil, checking and changing batteries, and performing complete lubrication tasks on equipment and machinery
- Changing tires and repairing tires and tubes
- Testing repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency
- Performing preventive maintenance
- Making recommendations for equipment to be repaired by outside sources
- Requisitioning parts and equipment
- Record keeping and reporting
- Providing general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
- CDL B with air brakes, (not required)
- 2-4 years’ experience
- Knowledge of heavy equipment (Excavators, loaders, etc.)
- Knowledge of engines. Gas/Diesel
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Knowledge of braking systems
- Knowledge of driveline to include clutch, flywheel, transmissions, and differentials
- Knowledge of steering mechanisms and suspensions
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Mechanical skills
- Welding, cutting, and fabricating skills
- Ability to manipulate tools (e.g., hand tools, power tools
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to understand manuals
Pay Range: $25 – $33/ hour (Negotiable depending on experience)

Civil Engineer:
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in the Detroit area and perform a complete range and variety of major, minor and routine repairs on heavy equipment and heavy vehicles.
- Design, build, operate and maintain construction projects based on demolition plan, grading, drainage, utility, site layout, SWPP, structural and architectural plans, logistics plan, constructions details.
- Analyze long range plans, survey reports, maps, and other data to plan and design projects.
- Send RFI on construction issues identified, work to be performed requiring additional detail, anticipated engineering failures to engineers and receive clarification.
- Consider construction cost, government regulation, potential environmental hazards and other factors during the planning and risk-analysis stages of a project.
- Compile and submit permit application to local, state, and federal agencies verifying that project comply with various regulation.
- Req: Master’s degree in civil engineering or Construction Engineering Management with 6 months experience as Civil or Project Engineer. Ref: #01280
Construction Engineer:
Responsibilities:
- Design engineering projects based on data from the survey layout information, maps, and dig utility reports.
- Prepare construction documents for institutional, residential, and commercial projects.
- Apply and use theories and principles from programs of construction engineering in resolving technical issues arising from all assigned projects.
- Design, repair, maintenance, and replacement of public infrastructure like water main, sewer, and roadway using software tools like AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, and Blue Beam.
- Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure and renovation, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials equipment, and construction time frame.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Construction Engineering Management or related.
- At least 6 months of experience as Construction Engineer or Architect.
